The Object Contextualization Model is now published
04 May 2011, MBBSoftware press release.
The Object Contextualization Model is an abstract methodology which enhances the object oriented paradigm by adding context to variables. The context information is maintained in the metaspace by the compiler and does not affect in any way the compiled code, except that it makes it safer. The Object Contextualization Model makes software programming much safer, more flexible and more comprehensive. However, it does involve somewhat more typing.
Miroslav: “In December 2009, I had the idea to somehow append context to objects/variables. At first I thought that there must be necessarily language support for it in order to be implemented. But then I thought how to describe the idea and tried to create an emulation using the existing language (C++) facilities."
The work on the Object Contextualization Model began and was complete in just one day in December 2009. Since then, the Object Contextualization Model was used in the large software solution Act On File. The Object Contextualization Model was also used in the Proper Numbers Library and the Mean Median Map. The author began writing a paper describing the Object Contextualization Model in June 2010 which was complete when it became necessary to describe the Object Contextualization Model for the Mean Median Map project where it was used.
