MBBSoftware Releases New Version of the Atomic Memory Model.
Version 2.3 of the popular open source development tool contains a host of new features and capabilities.
LONDON, United Kingdom, 15 October 2012 – MBBSoftware has released a new version of The Atomic Memory, its popular open source development tool. The Atomic Memory Model is a powerful methodology that greatly enhances the quality of code by making memory leaks and errors such as buffer overruns impossible. The methodology was published in the February 2009 edition of the Information Technologies and Control Magazine.

Version 2.3 of the example implementation of the Atomic Memory Model written in C++ contains a number of additions, such as HandleMemory and SecureMemory classes, as well as SecureString and others. Furthermore, numerous methods with various capabilities, including methods for data finding and resource manipulation have also been added since the last release. Several additional improvements have been made, including improved exception handling.

Miroslav Bonchev, creator of the model, said: “Companies spend a lot of their time debugging memory leaks and buffer overruns. Using the Atomic Memory Model saves this time as is makes such problems intrinsically impossible and does not require the use of unnatural tools such as garbage collector. Furthermore, it keeps source code very tidy and consistent.”

The Atomic Memory Model enables software architects and developers to create quality software applications using the powerful C++ programming language without having to worry about memory errors, saving them and their businesses a lot of time and money.
