When My Lovely is purchased on a DVD it comes in a beautiful set of two DVD's.
The first DVD is the installation media of the software while the second is empty, allowing you to store your own photographs on it.
Present idea: Purchase My Lovely on a DVD with a theme suitable
for your particular occasion and use the blank DVD which comes with the package to record your memorable photos. For example photos from your holiday, celebration, special
event, or any special memorable photos. Then give the My Lovely set as a gift to your loved one(s) for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversary or for any
other special occasion.
There are eight thematic designs of the My Lovely DVD case and discs, such as Romance, Anniversary, Celebrations, Family etc, which are displayed below:

The beautiful My Lovely DVD designs complement your photos to make a lasting impression and a treasured present.

- The installation DVD disc contains the My Lovely software. Use this disc to install My Lovely on a computer.
- The dedication DVD disc is a blank 4.7GB DVD disc which you can use to store your memorable photos. The Dedication DVD
can accommodate nearly 4,000 very large and high quality photographs, or 40,000 good quality photos. Be sure that you know how to burn pictures on a DVD before using the
dedication DVD. Once damaged, DVD discs usually cannot be restored to work again so it is important that you store your photos correctly the first time. You can practice
and burn your photos on another DVD, and once you are confident how to do it, then burn your photographs on the dedication DVD. We also recommend the following possible
procedure when you plan to make the My Lovely set a present:

Install My Lovely on your computer, but do not activate it as the license/activation is part of your present. My Lovely comes with a 30 day free trial
which commences from the moment of its first installation on a computer. The trial license allows you to use the software for 30 days for free. Use this time to get
acquainted with My Lovely, see how it works and decide which of your photos you would like to record on the Dedication DVD, as well as make any
change on their sizes, storage formats (jpg, png, etc) or other properties before storing them on the DVD. For example, be sure that you have corrected any "red eyes"
and other undesired effects on the pictures, as well as remove any pictures or parts of them which may not be enjoyed by the recipient of your present. Typically
all you will need to do is decide which pictures to store, make sure that all of them are properly rotated (e.g. a picture is not stored upside down) and classify the
pictures in any suitable folders if necessary.

Burn the photos that you want to store onto the DVD once they are prepared. You can copy the photographs in the root of the DVD or in folders as you find appropriate.
Note: hold the discs for the periphery when working with them to avoid leaving fingerprints on their surfaces.

Using the Disc Writer Marker included with the set, or another suitable marker, write your message to the recipient of your gift on the message lines of the dedication DVD.
Note: under no circumstances write on the DVD with a ballpoint or hard tipped pen as it can scratch the surface of the disc where the data resides. In recent
times it has become more and more apparent that permanent markers (non disc writer markers) could damage the data stored on the disc over long periods of time.
However, the DVD media that we use has a special coating absorbing the ink which allows the use of soft-tipped permanent markers on them. Regardless, we recommend
using a specialized Disc Writer Marker included with the set. According to the National Institute
of Standards and Technology (NIST) the DVD media that we use should have life expectancy of 100 to 200 years or more when stored and maintained properly. Notwithstanding,
we recommend having a copy of the data on other media.

Once you have stored the images and dedicated the Dedication DVD, verify that the images on it can be read correctly and place the two DVDs in the case. Be sure
to include the licensing paper which was found in the DVD case when first opened. Clean the DVD case from any fingertips marks using soft cloth and place the
DVD case in the brand new, DVD case wrapper sleeve also supplied with the package.
Notes:
- if the FREE Trial License expires before you are ready, or if you would like to use My Lovely on its own, without purchasing a
DVD set, then you can purchase a license for Act On File which allows you to use My Lovely on any computer where
Act On File is installed and activated.
